Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh to Host Free Breakfast Program With Belfast, Ireland Economic Development Representative June 14

The Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh, in cooperation with U.S. Congressman Mike Doyle (D-Pa.), will host a free breakfast meeting with Mark Finlay, director of the Belfast, Ireland-based economic development group President’s Club, Ltd., on Monday, June 14 at 7:30 a.m. at the Allegheny HYP Club in downtown Pittsburgh.

The President’s Club promotes business in Ireland’s “island-economy,” forming collaborative networks and forging links between the United States, Ireland and Europe.

A chartered surveyor by profession, Mark J. Finlay is a successful entrepreneur with diverse interests and experience across the UK & Ireland, the United States, and Europe. He is responsible for complex project delivery, award-winning urban regeneration, and economic initiatives and is an accomplished public speaker and authority on: relationships with North America, the role of “the City,” the creative industry, and engagement and empowerment of neighborhoods.

Finlay will discuss the vibrant, emerging city of Belfast, showcasing its business, cultural, academic and investment partnership opportunities.

The Allegheny HYP Club is located at 619 William Penn Place. There is no charge for the program, but registration is required by calling the Ireland Institute at 412-394-3900.
